*DR. GILLIAN FOSTER BACKSTORY
She and her husband, Alec, adopted a baby girl from Delaware called Sophie. Unfortunately, on day 57, the birth mother took Sophie away from the couple and things have never been the same again. Gillian and Alec never talk about this because Alec did not want to and finally Gillian told Cal about how she feels at the end of 'Do No Harm'

No one knows much. In "Sacrifice", it was revealed that maybe, she used to date Cal Lightman.

She is so fun to watch with Lightman. She brings out Cal's soft side. Best show with the best characters. I will love this show forever.

She is part owner with Cal Lightman. While it seems Foster works for Lightman, they are actually equal - they both listen to each other depending on who is stronger in any given situation (Lightman - lies, getting the truth; Foster - Pretty much everything else, all psychology related matters).Her marriage to Alec ended in divorce, which she's happy about. Enjoys the color pink.
