Do you guys think Joan is capable of showing any facial signs of emotion?!! Do you find this valuable?

to some degree but you wouldnt see any of the wrinkles or anything. you would have to rely on things like tighening of the lips and stuff like that and more on body language. i think she would be awesome to have on the show having Cal hissy fit because he cant read her face lol. I could imagine his rant about the pointlessness of the surgery and stuff. i mentioned this in another thread so comment so we can see if we can get an ep with a plastic surgery person on their because i would really like to see how he gets around that concept. Do you find this valuable?

I agree. There is no way to tell from her face, but i'm sure she will just tell you how she is feeling upfront. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

She will probably-tell a lot of people how she feels. However she's been a celebrity for more than half her life. Nobody goes through that without being stuck with layer upon layer of false front put up.

As for microexpressions, the muscles behind the skin still work the same (except for botox issues of course) so nose wrinkles, some lip stuff and so on are still possible.

i think it would be like that case, (what was the episode again?) of the girl who was murdered, and they accused her mother. but then Cal and Torres went to the service, Cal exploded the lamp and the mother showed no emotion, blahblahblah, botox on the forehead. Like that. But worse. Cal would LOVE talking to her. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

I was just going to mention that one. I loved the exploding lamp trick! Ha ha!

I don't want to see Joan Rivers anywhere.
