The Season 2 Thread!

Season 1 of Lie To Me is quickly drawing to a close. But it has been announced that Fox has decided to renew the series for another season! Its thanks in part to devoted fans (like you guys) that show networks when a show is a hit or a miss, and with LTM, its a home run!!So let's keep the buzz going!! ok im aussie so im a bit behind. by an ep i think. so my idea is Loker needs to turn himself around, They need to take the illusion of something hidden with Fosters husband further and make it something that your gonna wanna watch all the time to see Lightman figure it out. I think also goin into each character more. we see what they are like but dont really get into them like on some shows you get a whole past and present of them. i dont think you need that extreme but a bit more info. i really wanna see a case where Lightmen has to deal with detecting lies from someone like Joan Rivers where the surgery has just made things impossible to tell. like some barbie doll wife kills her husband or something. i think it would also be good to see Torres impress Lightmen, not exactly be better than him but to surprise him with something that he really didnt see coming. She can beat him in a later series. One thing that i think would put a real kick in the show would be if Lightmans daughter got pregnant and then gave the adoption to Foster, then you could have Torres and Loker not know and find out or something. But these are just my ideas if anyone else likes em feel free to agree or disagree. i know alot of ppl dont like loker but i think he could be a real asset to the show like in the pilot hes kinda lost that, truth he had in the first ep. maybe bring back his blurting out whats on his mind might make him a bit more loveable. specially if it was something you could get a giggle out of like Lightman having to run or something and complaining about being unfit or something and Loker pipes up with a its not matter of being fit its a matter of being old...sort of thing something you know everyone is thinking but no one is game enought to say...even a fat joke would be funny. just one of those you thought it he said it situations... 1 out of 1 found this valuable. i definitely agree with some of the stuff lil miss TK said....i would like to see funny Loker again. i miss that. i would also like to see Torres impress Lightman more, she almost did at the end of one of the episodes [i can't remember which] and she caught his brief look of surprise. but i think it should be something really awesome, lol....i know this is reaching, but maybe...just maybe, a fling or date or something between Foster and Lightman would be sweet. Emily was dropping hints in the finale and my knuckles were white on my computer, lol...it could really ruin their friendship, but if it was done properly, it could really work out awesomely...... idk, i'm excited to see where they're going to take it. in general, i'm just looking forward to it coming back on, lol...i'm definitely going to miss it Do you find this valuable? |

Ok I don't know about you guys but after 'Better Half' and Cal and his ex-wife kickin it at home obviously there are some strong feelings there and I think they should truly get back together. If they already are then I must have missed something.
Do you find this valuable?

I think no matter what they do its goin to be great. but i would like to see more of the funny side like when cal answered the door and asked "are you planning to have sex with my daughter? just that bluntness of the characters. but i also want to see some more of that raw intellegence like where he manipulated that serial rapist. but i definantly want them to go more into the lie detecting aspect, like where they just talk amoungst themselves and are like did you see the blar blar blar just to make me ah now i see...but i reckon put joan rivers on there that would be hilarous....think of how many plastic surgery jokes there will be then.... 1 out of 1 found this valuable. I completely agree with what Lil Miss TK said, especially the Joan Rivers remark (: . About the Cal and Gillian relationship, i can't help but ship for them. I remember reading that someone said (a producer, i guess) that the public seemed to enjoy their relationship, and the writers would probably work on that. I would love to see something slowly developing in between them, that would be sweet. Like, first, friendship getting stronger and this kind of stuff... i like to think of them as Mulder and Scully of X-Files. How they spent 5423456455124 season to finally get together... LOL =x

In the recent episodde- Honey- he was like to someone- "I need to be with someone else I love." then went to Gilian's house. So i think there's hope for them yet!And Lokar is being reallly annoying right now... And i totally want to see Emily outshint her dad someday Do you find this valuable? |

So i think there's hope for them yet!I saw Honey, of course, and I think he said to the lady he was having a drink with "I shouldn't be here." I don't think he used the word love. I think he sees Gillian as a close friend and he loves her in that way but not romantically. I sure hope he doesn't make the mistake of getting back with Zoe. I think his daughter brought it up in the first episode and he said "No". Keeping Gillian and Cal as best friends really adds more to the show. I think we should get him some dates and I think it is time she date as well. I would like to see Loker get back some sarcasm and smart ass comments. I like that daughter. She keeps Cal on an even keel and brings him back to reality. I would like to see here set him up with a date LOL. Torres needs to get some rhino skin and elephant balls to really grow into the kind of tough person she needs to be for the job she has. I think Lightman is trying to get her going in that direction and maybe she will surprise us. I really can't find the quote from the bar at the end of honey but I don't think the word love is used. Can someone else find it maybe? Do you find this valuable? |
